Short description

This course will provide necessary expertise in the field of project’s challenge and project marketing. Also, it will develop skills needed for understanding of all phases of business development. The students will acquire necessary techniques needed for defining clear strategic goals and factors influencing business future. 

Objectives

The participants will be able to:

- develop their project expertise while learning both the project's challenges and the project marketing,

- understand topic of business development,

- identify the necessary processes related to setting goals and the strategy definition in companies,

- systematize the general success factors of economic activity,

- understand issues related to company's development process,

- place the reference to its own business project and

- understand the development of alternative solutions in real business.

Introduction: The strategic triangle of corporate development

The basic scheme of the company's development process:

- Conditions' current situation as starting points

- Corporate objectives as a basis for strategy development

- Strategies as a means to achieve corporate goals

- Overall process of enterprise development as a cycle

Detailed consideration of the single process elements:

- Analysis of the current situation

- Analysis of exogenous conditions

- Definition of corporate objectives - criteria and dimensions 

Final consideration of the general success factors of companies:

- The principle of success factors systems

- The classic success factors of economic activity (according to Kurt Nagel)

- General success factors - Corporate success vs. Private success

- Industry-specific success factors

- Specific Success Factors

- Success factors from a customer perspective

- Conclusion
