Short description

The module examines the international business environment and its impact on management strategies. It focuses on the organization, operation, and management of multinational business ventures. It emphasizes cross-cultural communications, and issues of control and staffing for business operations in foreign countries.

Objectives

The participants will:

- acquire basic principles of foreign trade and the importance of international trade,

- acquire knowledge needed for understanding factors and problems of foreign activities,

- acquire knowledge for preparing entering strategies for foreign markets,

- gain an insight into the challenges of major international marketing strategies and

- study intercultural dimensions and differences in values.
